Our Partners
One of the music service’s key priorities is partnering with schools, musicians, and organisations throughout Wales. We collaborate with music education partnerships, community music groups, local youth organisations, brass bands and choirs, national organisations and networks, local authorities, venues, events organisers, and others.
It is important that our children and young people participate in and experience live music, access digital music technology, and take part in initiatives that support their mental health and well-being.
Through Charanga Cymru, young people can access and interact with partnership resources, which currently include:

Urdd Eisteddfod
Resources to support some of the Urdd Eisteddfod’s competition repertoire. Students can also use YuStudio® to support their entries in the festival’s Composing Music categories.
Arts Award
Arts Award is a great framework for supporting progression and celebrating achievement in music. Charanga and Trinity College London have worked together to make them accessible.
CânSing
Explore the richness of traditional Welsh Folk songs, melodic love songs and ballads that showcase the evolving nature of Welsh culture and identity over time.
Sinfonia Cymru
Simmy Singh and Delia Stevens have created an inspirational version of The Four Seasons. Four immersive projects from Charanga’s expert team introduce students to it and Vivaldi’s original.
