Our Open Forum will offer a space for everyone to learn more about the National Music Service’s work so far and to share news, opportunities and developments within the wider music community. The forum will also provide opportunity to explore current topics in music education. It will be held in different venues across Wales, three times a year.

We would like to invite you to our next National Music Service Wales Open Forum, which will be held at Yr Egin, Carmarthen on 23 May 2024. Our theme will be The Digital Journey.
Our Open Forum offers a space for everyone to learn more about the National Music Service’s work so far and to share news, opportunities, and developments within the wider music community. Our focus at this Forum will be digital music, where we will be looking at the importance of digital understanding in the new curriculum and will include practical sessions and an opportunity to contribute to a panel discussion. We are looking forward to meeting you and to hear about YOUR work too.

YMa, PONTYPRIDD
Join us at Pontypridd YMa Centre this February for the latest news from the National Music Service locally, regionally and nationally. We look forward to taking an insight into the musical opportunities there are for children and young people in the Rhondda Cynon Taf area and how the Welsh Government Music Education Plan works in the area. There will be an opportunity to network, share news and discuss throughout the day.
This is our second Open Forum event. This time, the focus will be on Partnerships. We will have

Amongst the speakers will be the National Eisteddfod, YMa Pontypridd, National Youth Arts Wales, RCT Music Service, and many more.
There will be opportunities also to make new contacts during the many breaks. If you’d like to attend, make sure you get your free ticket. We also offer a free space to showcase your organisation/group’s promotional material.
