The National Eisteddfod, which will be held in Wrexham this August, is calling on young instrumentalists to apply for competitions that could win them up to £3,000.
There are three individual instrumental competitions with generous cash prizes for the winner to enable them to continue developing and invest in their future studies. These include the Blue Ribband competitions for players aged over 19, between 16-19 years old, and those aged 16 and under. There is also a competition for ensembles between 2-6 instrumentalists. There is no age bracket for this competition.
